The nominations for the Most Inspiring Women in Cyber Awards 2022 are out and Charlotte Hooper, our amazing Helpline Manager, has been shortlisted!

The Most Inspiring Women in Cyber Awards

The aim of the Most Inspiring Women in Cyber Awards is to highlight role models for women in the industry to to aspire to. Specifically, role models who have had demonstrable success in the sector or are driving the changes necessary to redress the current imbalance.

The awards are an opportunity to celebrate the women’s achievements and shed light on these individuals as role models for others.

Charlotte inspiring career to date

Charlotte began volunteering with The Cyber Helpline May 2019 and worked directly with victims. In this role she helped hundreds of victims understand what had happened to them, contain the issue, recover and learn from their experience - always receiving excellent feedback from victims.

Her passion, drive and capability was quickly picked up by The Cyber Helpline leadership team and she was quickly promoted to our Helpline Manager, a voluntary role where Charlotte worked tirelessly around her studies to help us deliver and grow our service. Soon after Charlotte was invited to join the Board of Directors and has played a significant role in helping to grow our award-winning charity.

In Charlotte’s role with us to date she has helped thousands of victims, supported hundreds of volunteers with their development, provided expert training to UK police forces and international organisations, spoken at industry conferences, supported fundraising and she has significantly contributed to the growth of our charity.

Good luck Charlotte

The awards ceremony is being held at the BT Tower in London on Tuesday, the 22nd of November 2022. Good luck Charlotte!
