Other organisations offer a range of specialist support. We’ve compiled a list of useful links to other organisations available to those in the UK.

 

  • Action Fraud is the national fraud and cyber crime reporting centre in England, Wales & Northern Ireland. If you have been the victim of a crime you should report it to Action Fraud. 

    The Child Exploitation and Online Protection command (CEOP) is a law enforcement agency and is focussed on helping to keep children and young people safe from sexual abuse and grooming online.

    In Scotland, report cyber crime to Police Scotland.

    Report Harmful Content is a service that support users with harmful content online after they have reported to the platform themselves. It helps press sites like social media platforms to take action.

  • Victim Support helps people feel safer and find the strength to move beyond crime. Support is free, confidential and tailored.

  • Get Safe Online is the UK’s leading source of unbiased, factual and easy-to-understand information on online safety from protecting yourself, your computer, to information about shopping, banking, social networking and safeguarding children.

    HM Government’s Cyber Aware campaign with useful advice on how to stay safe and protected online.

    The Have I Been Pwned? website allows you to run your email address past a list of known accounts known to be breached by cyber criminals. It also tells you what information was taken as in the breaches.  

  • Cyber Bullying Advice from Bullying UK, part of Family Lives.

    Internet Matters helps parents keep their children safe online. 

    NSPCC provides help with online Safety for Children. 

    The Breck Foundation provides educational resources to keep children safe online.

  • Many helplines for stalking and domestic abuse are based on region, we have listed a few below.

    Protection Against Stalking is a Kent based specialist stalking charity that can support you if you are being stalked on or offline.

    The National Stalking Helpline can support you if you or someone you know is being made to feel harassed or intimidated by the behaviour of another person. If you want to access local support they can help you to find your local services.

    Action Against Stalking is a UK wide charity that deliveries accredited training to professionals, and offers professional support, advocacy, advice and recovery to victims of stalking.

  • The No More Ransom! project combines law enforcement and the cyber security to beat ransomware. They provide a range of tools to help individuals recover from ransomware infections.

  • The Revenge Porn Helpline is a specialist helpline for victims of intimate image abuse (also known as revenge porn). They support you if you are 18 years old or older.

  • cifas is the leader in fraud prevention and offer a protective registration service to guard against identity fraudsters. 

    Take Five offers straight-forward and impartial advice to help everyone in the UK protect themselves against financial fraud.

    Cybera is a free reporting tool that alerts global banks to your financial loss to help you recover as much money as possible.
